agree- i live along the hudson and have a boat in barnegat- the traffic is lower in Sept and the weather/seas are not much different than August. I agree, the weekend traffic is a bit heavier than weekday during Sept but still better than July and Aug.

I agree- I called FP last season, they were very helpful. Mine was shutting down, was low on coolant. They walked me through checking overflow bottle, how to bleed air out of genset when I refilled coolant. Great service.

Bahamas- you didn't mention what type of safety gear you have on board or should have on board- Radar, EPIRB, Sat Phone, VHF and back up Hand Held VHF- maybe a raft? Back up fuel filters? if you don't have these, suggest you borrow or rent them- things happen quickly .
