Would like to add additional rod holders on gunwale on my 336. Would like one about mid ship ( near fuel fill/holding tank cap areas) and a few forward of the mid cleat. i sent email to Grady asking them how I can see what is behind the gunwale wall BEFORE I drill holes on top of gunwale. I was hoping they could give me dimensions of " safe places" to drill into the top of the gunwale. Their suggestion was, remove bolster, drill hole in side portion of gunwale, look inside, then drill hole on top of gunwale. After installing rod holders, use access covers to cover " peep holes" and replace bolsters.
