    Marlin Transom Cap Replacement

That transom cap seems to be one of the biggest complaints that I hear regarding Gradys. It gets blamed for water intrusion into the transom and many folks have it removed and the transom top glassed over when they repair the transom.

Spreader light and macerator question 282 sailfish

I have an Islander rather than a Sailfish but they may be wired alike. In mine, there's a secondary fuse panel in the overhead compartment of the hardtop. The fuse for the spreaders is there. My fuse blew last year.

Pompanette helm seat arm rests covers

It's really a shame that this issue has never been addressed by Pompanette or GW. These arm rests were obviously not produce using a material that meets the environmental requirements for the application. They should be either producing replacement arm rests constructed with an improved...

Pompanette helm seat arm rests covers

Thank you Captain. I just placed the order via Amazon Prime. Now to explain this to my wife that the socks are not hers. Look at the awful shape that mine are in. I spoke to my local Grady dealer and they said that Pomponette will only provide the entire armrest assembly for about $450. I...

What's GW's Track Record for Osmotic Blisters?

I hope that there has not been many responses to this topic because no one is finding any on their boats.

What's GW's Track Record for Osmotic Blisters?

I have heard that some boat manufacturers have more issues with blisters than others. How does GW rank? Apparently a quality glass and gelcoat job can make a difference.

Yes, price was from a GW dealer. I currently have a single, so price was for all new components up at the helm.

    Repowering 1998 Sailfish 272

H6rseplay: What did you get for Yamaha pricing. I recently had a dealer give me a price of $40K for new dual 200 hp Yams, installed, and rigged.

New boat contract signed and check is in the mail.

Welcome to the Islander club. We love ours. Make sure those surge brakes are working on the trailer. She's lighter than the Sailfish, but she still has some weight to her.

    Towing a 282 Sailfish

I tow both a 30' travel trailer and a GW 270 (not at the same time). I have always towed with an F350. My first F350 had a 5.4L V8 with 3.73s. It struggled pulling the TT. If it was cool out and I was on flat roads, I could do it, but if the weather was hot and I got into some hills, the...
