One of my trim tabs won't extend now that the boat is out of the water. It worked fine the other day while on the water. There is no obstruction and just one deploys the other stays put. Any suggestions on where to start looking for problems?

Thank you for the advice. I had wondered whether or not to spray the engine. I saw something on a show about spraying the engine with lube and penetrating oil, but was unsure if it would hurt anything. Any thoughts about that? Thanks again, JC

Yes it says to clean and degrease the engine. It is a winterization check list from west marine. Perhaps it applies to inboards and is general in nature.

How do you get access to the end part that holds the bulb? The socket is inside the metal tube that extends over the t-top. I hope it's just a corroded wire, but I don't know how to get at it.

Put a new bulb in just in case it was the bulb and still nothing. Any suggestions as to what to check on a 2000 Chase 263 anchor light. I do not see any corrosion where the bulb plugs in.

I have a T-Top that leaks from the metal frame. There is a small drain hole that is located right above my shoulder. I imagine the leak comes from either the VHF antenna, or Radar dome where they attach to the frome. Any suggestions??? John

I have a Chase 263 with the fishboxes in the bow. The port side fish box has a partician in it that slides out. What is the purpose of the partician. It cuts the box into a 2 foot area and a 1 foot area (approx) box. Thanks, John

How do you set up outriggers? Do you clip the line to them and then feed it out, or the opposite? I have them on my boat but have no idea how to use them. How do you set up the proper release tension for the release clips??? Thanks, John
