One of my trim tabs won't extend now that the boat is out of the water. It worked fine the other day while on the water. There is no obstruction and just one deploys the other stays put. Any suggestions on where to start looking for problems?

Scroll down for switch wiring instructions, (assuming you have rocker style switch). Orange, (power+) wire is connected to center of switch. Ground wire, (black) is at the pump.

If wiring is ok, check the switch itself with an ohm meter. You can also "jump" power to each wire, that will tell you if the switch is bad.

If switch and wiring are ok, one of the solonoids on the pump might be going bad.
