    232 Gulfstream

I think it is to maximize cockpit room (56 sq/ft) and to give the boat the handling of a 25'. Does that sound right? I love mine. Joe.

New boater question about the Voyager and Gulfstream

Being your first boat I can see you concern of dealing with 2 motors. Don't let it bother you, take it slow and easy and you will love them. Also if you do decide to sell it later to move up, A Gulfstream with twins will be easier to sell. That's my .02. Joe

    204 Overnighter Top

I had Redman marine In maine make me a hardtop and ship it to me in Illinois. It took a while to get but was worth the wait. Im sure they could build something for you. Mine fit like a glove, and the quality is second to none. No one here in the midwest does this kind of work. I did find...

1990 Overnighter 20 trailer options and cost?

I bought a Fastload aluminum trailer from Fla. for like $4500 they delivered it to me for $300 in Il. I'm happy with it except for the cheap bias ply tires that came on it. But it only goes to the big pond in the spring and back to storage in the fall, the tires will rot out before they wear...

    another newbie, washdown pump question

Look down in the bilge for the sea cock (valve/lever) and then follow the hose to the pump. The male water outlet should be on the inside of the aft bulkhead under the gunnel on the port side. It may have a cap on it with a little bead chain keeper. Hope this helps..Joe.

    Newbie question!!

I think you will need a transom mounted trolling motor. A bow mount won't have a long enough shaft. Maybe you can get a different mount for the one you have now... Just my thought. Joe.

If your trailer has surge brakes the extra wire is hooked to your reverse lights, so when you are backing up a hill the brakes won't be activated when the master cylinder on the is compressed. there should also be a hole you could slip a bolt or rod into to do the same thing. hope this helps. Joe

    Electric Bow Mount Trolling Motor

I think it would depend on how long of a shaft you would need to get the motor deep enough to work well. Gradys sit pretty high off the water. Also will the bow rail be in the way of stow and deploy? A bow mount would be pretty slick for the perch fishing we have in lake Michigan off of...

    Washdown/Livewell pump

I know there has been a lot of discussion on this subject in the past, from searching the old posts. But I have another question. It seams most agree that the Shurflo bait master pump is a good replacement for the combination washdown/livewell pump. will there be any problem using it because it...
