We are well into this project. One piece of advice; do not trust the GW tank drawings. Pull your tank and have it built off of that original. My original fill, vent, ground, pick up and sending unit were all very different from what was supplied by GW. Tank is back getting reworked now...

Any other fuel tank replacements done over the past year?

Garmin Echomap 94 SV UHD is great. Easy install, just run a messenger when removing old transducer. Videos on the web on install, functions etc. Put it on top of your console. Unit comes unclipped from bracket so you can stow it away or take it with you.

Anyone done this on a 1993 Escape? Tips? tank suppliers? Info I should ask for from Grady? Pics and advice welcome. I definitely have this in my future, even if I don't find the tank is leaking.... 28 years old, that tank owes me nothing.

I also have been using Rejex for the hull instead of wax for two seasons with great results.... Originally designed for use on cockpit windshields and leading edge of aircraft wings.

I took the striping and the logo of my 209 Escape. Looks bigger and the name fits better. Don't know how to post pics from my photo gallery though. There will be a shadow of the stripe for a year or so, but it fades. You will be the only one to notice it in time. Not worried about whether people...

I removed them altogether, and am happier with how the boat looks without the striping.
