    Green Fuel Color

But it wouldn't be able to feed back through and to the bottom of the water separator filter.

    Green Fuel Color

Can't be coming from the oil. The green color was all the back as far as my water separator filter. Read the first poet.

    Green Fuel Color

I've posted this problem earlier this season and after a quick fix for the problem I can now explain it better. This only happens when I let my boat sit for more than two weeks. As before I went to start my O/B engine, when I went to pump the primer bulb and found that it was already hard. I...

    Oil in Carbs?

    1. Can't answer the 1st question. 2. The motor turned but wouldn't catch like it was not getting any fuel. 3. The primer bulb was hard as a rock when I first attempted to pump it. I am assuming it was because the carbs were clogged with oil.

    Oil in Carbs?

3 carbs with oil in them could make the flow of fuel very hard. I wasn't there when the mech drained them so I couldn't say how thick the oil was. I am only going by what he told me. As far as the linkage I will have to look into that. And for the primer bulb I switched it with another to make...

    Wiper Motor

That motor comes with 2 speeds a high and a low. My switch only uses the low so I didn't use the wire for the high. Also the motor comes set at 110° you will probably have to adjust the linkage for a 45° sweep. There are instructions supplied.

    Oil in Carbs?

I think so, I've used it to start the engine without a problem since then. I'm still wondering why the fuel would be so dark. When I say dark as the color of the oil I mean that you can not see thru it. And the primer bulb was hard as a rock without squeezing it. I'm assuming it was due to the...

    Oil in Carbs?

I had a problem with oil in my carbs in my 200 hp Merc OB this weekend. I hadn't run my boat for the last 2 weeks and when I went to use it this weekend I couldn't get it started. I eventually call my Merc mechanic and after making sure it wasn't related to other problems it was determined that...

    Garmin FishFinder240

Again, that about were mine is but I won't be able to tell until I pull my boat. So I guess I will have to tweak the location of my transducer.

    Garmin FishFinder240

That sounds about were mine is mounted. I have the boat in a slip for the season so I will have to double check were exactly it is mounted when I pull it out at the end of the season.

    Garmin FishFinder240

It's mounted back on the transom right on the edge of the hull. I couldn't think were else it should be mounted externally. I have heard of the transducer being mounted inside the hull. Do you know anything about that?

    Garmin FishFinder240

I have a Garmin FishFinder240. There are times when I am moving 20 mph and faster I get readings i am in water 300 plus feet when I know I am in water between 10 to 20 feet. Most of the time when I slow down my the display will stop flashing and will stabilize to an accurate display and reading...
