I just took the 3 screws out and pulled the unit out and moved the plastic float. I didn't undo any wires. I would love for the problem to be the ground wire! I can fix that and will try tomorrow. Thanks

The Yami gauge for my reserve tank reads empty when it is full. I took the sending unit out but left it wired and manually pushed the plastic float up and the bar graph reads full. I put the unit back in and I don't think my plastic float is floating anymore. If this is how they wear out and if...

So I can move the pump and use the same sea cock? Just relocate the pump higher up by adding more hose? That sounds like a good plan. F the marina I can do that myself.

I'm taking that panel off to inspect my fuel tanks anyway so that would be great. I already bought the GE silicone II almond color just for the job. I hope it is that easy! Thanks and I will keep eveybody posted.

This pump is nearly impossible to get to and my marina replaced it 2 years ago with great frustration. They said they will not do it again because the job took 3 hrs and it's not worth their time. The pump they put on (same as factory one) eneded up leaking in the bildge and almost sank my boat...

Anyone ever replaced their discolored arm rests on a 282 sailfish? I read that this has been a problem for Pompenett.

Should I even bother looking somewhere else for a replacement shower head or just go to the dealer? This is the fresh water wash down in the cockpit of my 03 282. Thanks
