Your teak looks great. What did you use on it? I just finished sanding and oiling mine but I'm on the fence about clearing it. I've heard horror stories about getting the clear off to redo it. I had enough trouble singe the PO of my boat decided to stain the wood instead of oiling it.

What do you recommend? Should he cut a hole in the floor so he can get his hand in there to install the nuts and washers? The seat bases mount to the floor with no access.

I was wondering what compound you used that you were able to bring the shine up with an orbital machine. I have to do my Tarpon and was planning on sanding with a DA sander 1000,2000,3000,5000 then compounding. That is the way I did the gel coat on the Striper I had and it came out like glass.

If there isn't any marks from hitting anything I don't think that you would have any damage.
