    190 Tournament Hardtop

That top looks nice on your boat by the way.

    190 Tournament Hardtop

I'm actually thinking of picking up a cheap arch that I saw on another site and sticking with a canopy. The thing is only $599 shipped.

    trim tabs

I had Lenco tabs on my 21ft Striper and I was happy with them. They have an auto retract feature that retracts the tabs every time you shut the engine off. I called them directly to help size the tabs on my boat.

    190 Tournament Hardtop

I just picked up a 190 Tournament and was wondering if anyone has put a hardtop on one?

1997 Grady 208 - console and side removal

On my Striper I used Dupont spectramaster vinyl paint. Sandy wrecked the boat but the vinyl seemed to hold up ok. I'm going to use it again on my Grady and I'll see how it lasts.

    Windshield Loose on Tournament

The entire hull is covered in gelcoat, solid glass or cored. You can do as you please with your boat. I was merely commenting on my previous experience on my Striper, which hopefully was a lower quality glass layup. I'll also be dealing with this same problem on my Tournament that seems to have...

    Windshield Loose on Tournament

If you don't debur you run the risk of spider cracks. I'd rather spend more time now removing the whole windshield than repairing cracks. I just picked up a Tournament and most likely will be doing this job. PS. When I first got my Striper I had to reattach the windshield and I didn't...

    Windshield Loose on Tournament

Anytime you drill into fiberglass you should use a countersink bit to prevent cracking. You should also use sealant in the holes.

    190 Tournament trim tabs

I just bought a 1982 Tournament. I'm going to put my 1996 Johnson 130hp on it. I have a set of trim tabs from my Striper that was totaled by Sandy and I was wondering if anyone thought that they were necessary on this boat. They are 12x12 Lenco tabs.

    Carpet liner

I used glue spray glue from home depot to secure the carpet on my Striper with no issues. I'm sure that's all they used from the factory.

190 bow rider vs 20 overnighter

I wound up buying the 190. It was cheap and my engine, which was rebuilt in 09 and only has 123 hrs on it, should move her just fine. I was mainly looking for a boat to go with the engine I have. This boat is going to be a step down in amenities from what I had, but I'll make do. I was really...

I'm going to check out the 190 tomorrow so I'll know better then.

190 bow rider vs 20 overnighter

When Sandy totaled my Striper I kept it instead of letting them take it to a salvage yard. I stripped her down completely and de-rigged her myself. In the process I found out that rigging the boat shouldn't be that difficult, there's only two plugs that connect the harness to the motor. I know...

190 bow rider vs 20 overnighter

The motor I have came off of my 21ft Striper wa and it moved it no problem. The 190 has a 110hp on it now and the overnighter has a 150hp on it. My motor only has 123 hours on which is why I want to keep it. I have no doubt that it will be fine on the 190. I'm more interested in seeing what the...

190 bow rider vs 20 overnighter

I'm a new member here and I'm looking at two Gradys. One is a 190 bow rider the other is a 20ft overnighter. Both need new engines. I have a 1996 Johnson 130hp that was a recent rebuild. I was looking for some input as to what would be the best choice with the engine I have. Thanks
