They may be low - its hard to tell because you are dealing with the sharp rise of the hull when you look forward. Maybe lifting them a hole would help but I am in no position to be doing that right now with the boat in the water.

Ok - I did some runs last night as my surveyor asked some questions. With 3/4 load of fuel... 2 passengers - basic safety equipment. Trimmed out I can get 4900 rpm - both engines WOT - so the props must have been reworked or something as they should be different RPM's based on the markings...

Anyone else have this combo that can recommend a set of wheels?

I would assume I would need to know diameter and pitch? I dont know what the numbers I found mean? I assume pitch. Maybe diameter is somewhere else.

My 92 Dolphin has an Aluminum Tank - My 87 Gulfstream also had an Aluminum tank. I would be pretty sure its aluminum. A quick pop of the inspection port would confirm this.

Thanks Bob - Sorry I hadn't updated this thread - didn't think anyone had noticed. I had a bad aux tank fuel fill cap oring - I pumped out about 7 gallons of water/phase separated fuel. Have since had the boat out for two separate multiple hour runs, dumped the filters and all is well...

pulled the filters this morning - the one on the left is the bad from yesterday - the two on the right were pulled this morning - only run off the main tank - I will put back in and run off the aux tank and see what happens -

Now I see the difference - its the gussets you are referring to. Maybe thats where the additional HP was compensated for.
