    Rubber hose for cooler drain?

Good call - i did check the thru hull and looks like it was replaced rather recently and is in good shape, but why they didn’t replace the hose at the same time is a bit baffling. I’m more concerned about the connection to the cooler since it’s a bit of a reach through the pie hole and will be...

    Rubber hose for cooler drain?

Thanks - the deck drains directly through scuppers in the corners of the transom so no pipes to worry about there. This is the only drain pipe other than the one connected to the bulge pump. Thanks for the recommended numbers…

    Rubber hose for cooler drain?

Hi everyone! Have a 1996 Tournament 192 and looking to replace the section of hose that drains the cooler behind the helm chair to the starboard waterline drain. It’s a pretty bendy route and looking at the hose there wondering if it was a premolded hose of if there is a rubber hose that will...

Replacing windshield screws with bolts/nuts thru gunwale

Thanks seasick - it’s a 96 hull. The spider cracking is really only on that last screw on the end. Your expansion comment makes sense. I yes I was thinking the nylon lock nuts with a flat washer. Appreciate your thoughts

Replacing windshield screws with bolts/nuts thru gunwale

Hey folks! what are your opinions on replacing screws with a thru setup on a windshield? See attached photo - this screw spins in place and there are some spider cracks emanating from the hole. Was thinking 316ss bolt with a washer and lock nut underneath the gunwale? I can get up there with...

    1995 Grady White 208 Adventure - Pristine

beautiful boat, GLWS. When they stripped the bottom paint to the gel coat, did the soda blast? How did that come out?

    96 Tournament 192 Repower

Hey there - the trim tabs work really well, especially to balance out when cruising. We are a family of 5 so loading is never perfect, but dropping a tab when needed really helps. With water and oil tanks removed, moving batteries to port side balanced it for me

    96 Tournament 192 Repower

Just a quick update - up to about 15 hours on the new Merc 150. Really loving this motor and can't believe what a difference a new helm, steering system, hoses makes - wow! I've been running an aluminum black max prop 15.5 x 15p and am getting about 5700rpm w/ light load at WOT at just over...

    96 Tournament 192 Repower

    96 Tournament 192 Repower

New Merc 150 is now mounted! Trying to figure out what size prop - 14.25" x 17 aluminum prop was only running 5200rpm (only prop the shop had to try). So I will be testing out my old Suzuki 14" x 18P (which is also a 15-spline prop, but will probably need different washers) to see how that...

    96 Tournament 192 Repower

It’s a good question - I think it might be the outflow from a live well that was once installed. I have a thru-hull pickup scoop under the port side hull that feeds the aeration pump you see in the bilge, although its no longer connected to anything. It’s completely sealed now. That’s the...

    96 Tournament 192 Repower

Smoky mountain I think you’re right that I am overthinking it - we will see here in the next few weeks! Was able to get into the bilge - infinitely easier with the motor removed!!! Needed a good scrubbing - those pie holes don’t make it very easy. Some before and after pics...

Do you own a 192 Tournament?

I won't have her before then unfortunately and am not nearby - sorry. She loads great every time... One thing I'll note is that my bunks are parallel both laterally and vertically. The top edge is graded to follow (generally) the ~20 degree angle of the hull towards center (which increases as...

Do you own a 192 Tournament?

My boat's at the shop right now, but here's a photo if it helps. Based on 8' beam i'd say that it's about 38-40" from inside to inside of the bunks and maybe 42-44" on center... Hope this helps.
