    Tournament 192

Great boat. I use my 2001 (192) around the southern waters of Cape Cod (between the mainland and Martha's vineyard. Handles that water very well for a boat its size. Solid as a rock.

Advice? Going to check out this Tournament 192

I have the same boat (2001) with a 150 HPDI motor and I love the boat and the power is absolutely fine (around 40 mph wide open)... not sure how much more power there is in the 150 compared to that 130. I'd also be concerned about how long it's been listed, but I wouldn't necessarily write it...

    The Walk Around Cuddy R.I.P.

I don't disagree with this... which is why I scratched my head when they discontinued the 192 DC (which I own and love). Maybe a little bit too small for many but on decent days it's an extremely capable boat and so easy to maneuver/trail, etc.

    First trip to the Vineyard

Dave, if you didn't get a response on this or haven't had the cushions done yet, I had mine all redone on my 2001 192 last summer and the guy did a terrific job. He's based out of Mashpee, MA. If you need the contact let me know and I'll dig it out.

    First trip to the Vineyard

Just checking in to revisit this discussion. I recently moved my living (and mooring) location to Jehu Pond which is off Waqoit Bay and have been getting to MV frequently this summer, including yesterday. Always nice to go during the week when the Town moorings are plentiful.

    19' Tournament

I love my 2001 192 and I have a Yami 2 stroke which only has 675 hours and I'm very happy with the motor... it's DFI which may be why I'm happy with it (I've found it to be quiet and fuel efficient). One of the things I've wondered about would be whether re-powering (some day) to a (presumably...

2000 Grady 192 for 1st boat in PNW?

I have a 2021 192 with the Yamaha 150 DFI and I couldn't be happier with the boat. Rides like a much bigger heavier boat but is easy to trail and maneuver. I run it mostly in Nantucket Sound (south of Cape Cod, MA) and it handles the chop a lot better than friends of mine who have bigger...

    Guilty pleasure ...anyone else

Definitely something unreal about the number of bystanders who watch the fails that don't jump to help. It shouldn't be that way out on the water. My buddy and I were at a ramp last summer and a couple (who were arguing the whole time) offloaded their Whaler (approx 17/18ft) and the guy drove...

    New motor or say goodbye

There's an hour meter on one of the gauges.

    New motor or say goodbye

I also have the same boat (2001) and was thinking what I'd do if the motor starts to give me any issues at any point (I also have the 150 Yamaha, it's a 2 stroke DFI). My current motor runs like a top and only has about 350 hours so I'm hoping to run it for quite a while longer. But as things...

1988 19 Tournament Gas Tank Replacements

Interesting... I always thought it was a 60 gallon tank (although I have a 2001 so maybe they switched to a bigger tank at some point)... or maybe I'm wrong!

    Cuttyhunk

I always find that the wind is considerably higher than what the app/forecast shows in that area (Popponessett to the Vineyard), particularly in the afternoon. Usually it doesn't bother me since I ride the increased SW wind back from the Vineyard.

    Should this be like this?

Got it... thanks... definitely not having any problems so that's good enough for me. Thanks for the help.

    Should this be like this?

Funny thing is my (2001... maybe they moved it) doesn't appear to have that vent in that location. Strange. I'll take a closer look when I'm at the boat this weekend.

    Should this be like this?

Excellent, thank you all... Don't know why I never noticed it before but it had me scratching my head this past weekend. Again much appreciated.

    Grady-White Closing

Bummer. The 192 does everything that I need and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. I don't consider it to be an "entry" level boat (as I've been boating for many decades and have owned a number of different boats over the years). I just don't need a bigger boat and I like to have...

    Should this be like this?

I've owned my boat (2001, 192) for 4/5 years and it's run like a top. The other day I noticed that somebody at some point blocked the vent with silicon (on the bow next to the gas cap). I'm presuming this vent should not have been blocked and I don't know why it was or when it was done but I...

    Help..192 Freedom vs. 205 tournament

I'm frequently out in my 192 in Nantucket sound and disagree with the comment that "it's not going to be pleasant unless it's really calm." As a matter of fact, it's very rarely really calm in those waters... and I've encountered 3-5' on numerous occasions and she's always been solid and...

    Tournament or Freedom

Maybe/probably a stupid question but I'm confused about something regarding my boat so I'm hoping somebody knowledgeable can answer. I own a 2001 192 dual console (with a 150 DFI). But I'm not sure if it's a "Tournament" or a "Freedom" model and I've seen both model names thrown around... or...
