You'll probably run into a macerator problem at some point. The holding tank has an internal macerator.....poor design. My dealer is trying to locate 10 Gallon tank with external macerator and re do the plumbing......cost effectively of course.

Jeti, I was absolutely surprised at the large size of the 265 when I saw it for the first time last weekend. I too, looked at this vessel but a Marlin fell in my lap. I'm not sure there was any negative I could see except no Walkaround if you have the little ones. Good luck!

Go to west marine or RV dealer and get non toxic anti freeze. Run it through the fresh water system until the facuet/s spill pink. Not sure what your concern is about the lower unit.
