I had a similar issue with a previous boat. In that instance I had to enlarge the holes in the fiberglass side panels. That was a pain in the neck, dusty job. I used down cut jig saw blades to reduce chipping. That did reduce chipping but the fiberglass ate up the blades quickly

The answer is the same: It all depends on the bank or whatever loan agent is used. Why do you care whether the buyer can get a loan? If he or she can't, find another buyer.

Whether a lender will issue a loan to a buyer on a boat doesn't have anything to do with a current load owed by the seller. The buyers credit history and finances will be a much bigger factor than the boat's age.

The tank either leaks or it doesn't:) No smell is a good sign but even if it doesn't leak, there is no easy way to determine how much life it may have. I would a bit concerned about possible exhaust stack corrosion. Make sure you get the exhaust inspected.

I am not sure exactly what Yamaha says about fogging but on some motors, it is not recommended to fog through the intake since the oil can damage the mass air flow sensor. If the plug that went bad was the same on both engines, I have to wonder if it was something you did that fouled the plugs...

What was your motor model? What method did you use to fog the motor? Was it the same cylinder in both motors that was mis firing?
