Port Side Battery Charged but not connecting

There would be a short thick black cable connecting the two negative terminals together. You may have missed putting it back.

    232 Gulfstream being discontinued

It wasn't selling a lot of units. I was told by a Yami rep that the open bow DCs account for the vast majority of sales.

    Yamaha oil filter N26

I wouldn't. Not worth the risk. If there is some video available like a a cut open new and used sample and a comparison Yami cut open. I could change my opinion. I am curious; How often do you change filters?

    Freshwater system issue

If the forum charged the typical plumbers rate for diagnosing and repairs, you would have to see your boat to cover the expense:) Glad it worked out.

    Livewell and Washdown Pump

If your baitwell is at the port helm seat area and the pump is aft in the bilge, there is a decent length of hose between the two components. I might opt for the 800 over the 500 since the long hose run reduces the flow rate. That said, if you current pump is not directly mounted to the seacock...

    330 battery charger wiring

Since the batteries are wired as two banks of parallel batteries, a two bank charger is appropriate assuming the batteries in each bank are the same make, model and age. In the example of the wiring diagram, there are connections that some folks might question. I personally fell that the wiring...

Drain Plug Hole - Exposed Wood

A lot depends on how dry or wet your bilge is. If there is constant water in the bilge, there is a greater chance of moisture absorption. But as sort of mentioned, if it aint broke (after all these years) don't fix it. Properly sealing the hole is a bit more complicated than you might think...

    Livewell and Washdown Pump

Are you sure you have a single pump for both washdown and livewell? How many scoops are on the underside of the hull? You may have only one scoop but it could connect to an inline pump as well as have an aus secondary port for the second pump. My 208 had separate pumps. The wash down pump is a...

Freedom 225 Floor Access Panels 2014 boat.

The taping is important. Wet your finger and use it to spread. Do not use alcohol if you are using silicon caulk. The masking tape has to be removed pretty quickly after caulking, a few minutes, maybe 5 or so. If you wait too long, the caulk will stick to the tape and get pulled out. Pull the...

Freedom 225 Floor Access Panels 2014 boat.

I would be concerned that the caulk is lifting in sections. Does the panel move or flex when stepped on? If not, then all you need to to caulk with a good brand of almond color silicon based kitchen and bathroom caulk.

Shouldn't the cap have a retaining chain to prevent loss?

    Trim Tabs Unresponsive

You said lights and noise when pressing up. If so there is fluid in the reservoir. Even if there weren't, you would hear the motor run. You may have a bad switch or a bad even a bad control box if there is one (depends on tab features). Did you press down for both tabs with no result?. First...

    Trim Tabs Unresponsive

if there is a fluid leak, they are hydraulic. I guess the first thing to check is if there is power at the switch at the helm. You should be able to unscrew the switch and pop it out a bit to get to the connectors on the back (assuming a standard, non indication switch (no trim level lights)...

Did you get new end caps and if so, is it possible that the new seals fit new caps but not the old?
