    GW Bonding

    GW Bonding

i do not leave dock power on when I'm not at the boat. gunwale and lighthouse switches off. could be why I've been relatively good. ron

Trim tab- anti fouling paint and zincs

i give the marina a jar of cayenne pepper to add to the paint for the thruster, tabs and motor brackets. i think the paint they use is Pacifica. seems to be doing the trick. good luck, ron and i don't use zincs on the tabs.

    late model Marlin battery relocation

has anyone moved the batteries in a late model Marlin from the port side to the centerline? no genset so there is a distinct list to port (sop should have been batteries centerline unless you do a genset, but that's water under the boat). i'm interested to know how "smooth" the relocation went...

    New Boat Question

are you sure it is not 30 watts? that would be a maintenance draw for a battery charger. 30 amps is top of the chart for that size boat. good luck, ron

    New Express 305 Hard Top

as mentioned by others, what is the actual problem? is the top breaking thru? that should be synthetic material so other than freeze issues you should be able to just do some localized repairs. hit all the screw holes and cable entries. good luck, ron

Question for GW 306 Canyon Owners

FWIW, my boats have always performed within a hair of the published performance figures. they have the specifics included in the perf bulletins so you can compare to your setup. also, remember that they are very skilled captains so the boats are most likely trimmed to perfection. a big...

    425 on gradywhite marlin

other than hull rating issue, those things are big. 33 in the slip next to me has them and they are huge sitting on that transom. i'm running the new 300's and they're more than enough for the boat. JMHO. good luck, ron

    AISLink CB2 Transponder

i thought transponders had to be programmed by an FCC licensed individual in the USA. I'm thinking of doing one. i boat around large vessels and it would be nice to know that they actually are aware of my little boat in their vicinity. receiver not useful since i can easily see them visually...

    360 Express Transom Issues

yes, but are they factory cut like that. i cannot specifically recall my 330 or the marlin, but the fact that that jumped out to me is of concern. ron
