    The Walk Around Cuddy R.I.P.

First and foremost I use my boats for fishing. So up until I bought the 228 I’ve had centre consoles. It’s hard to beat a CC for a fishing boat. I bought the 228 because I wanted to do multi day trips on the Lower Great Barrier Reef and overnight in some of the navigable lagoons. So the 228 fits...

    1987 Seafarer vs.2014

It won’t have the same ride as the the 2014 as the Sea V2 hull wasn’t introduced until 1989.

    Yamaha Helmaster

No. But I want one. Didn’t realize it had a spot lock function. Not needing an electric motor, batteries and cables would pay for about half. Gotta start saving my pennies for when I re-power.

    bunk guides

Check that your trailer is designed for drive on. Some aluminium trailers with bunks are float-on only. Driving on can damage the trailer.

Clean your own boat? Try this.

I ceramic coated the non skid. It’s a bit more slippery than the chalky non-skid but no more than new non-skid. It’s so easy to clean. Hose off and go over with a microfibre cloth and mild detergent. No scrubbing required.

Chase to Seafarer bow pulpit and railing

I wouldn’t be surprised if it bow rail would fit as is. The Gulfstream and the Seafarer bow pulpit, bow rail extensions are the same item.

Any Ideas What These Wires Are For.

Spreader lights and dome lights work. Spotlight and remote work. White wire hanging above id from the loud hailer which broke off during transit and I am not using. The black went to the fuse board. The white and red to the short brown wire above the fuse board. Looking at the cut crimp ends on...

Any Ideas What These Wires Are For.

When I imported the boat the radar mount was removed. That meant the radar, anchor light and loud hailer were disconnected. I thought these wires had something to do with the radar as they are not for the loud hailer or anchor lights. When I remounted the radar it worked without these wires...

Help with removal transom back rest and gunwale cushions on a 2011 GW 228 seafarer

My 2006 has the J hooks and 2 press studs under the top roll of the cushion that clip onto 2 studs on the top of the transom. Very easy to remove.
