    Suzuki repower for Marlin

Dont have the fly by wires, but they're 2018's on a Marlin. I havent noticed that condition. I usually run between 3800-4000 and cruise at 24-25mph.

    Marlin Tank Really Full?

I am confused with my new(er) Suzuki tank gauges. I thought I had about 70gal in my main tank and was filling up yesterday. At 10 gal pumped, it kept burping back at me like it was full. What gives? Could it really be full? PS - I would prefer not to pull the sender and do a manual/visual if...

    282 Sailfish rear sun shade

On our Marlin, we put a Taylor Anchorshade up when sitting. It is a lifesaver in the hot sun....only good for at rest.

    Carrying a dinghy on a marlin ?

Great Question....I have been wondering the same. I suppose a rollup stored in the cockpit or on the bow might be ok (with a small OB). Anyone tow a rollup? looks treacherous

    Locking gas Caps

I know there is a vent on the hull, I think that also overflows fuel....is that the vent?

    Locking gas Caps

I think I would like to secure my fuel system with locking gas caps. I am now at a marina with some less than credible people. Any ideas which ones will fit a 99 marlin?

Pressurized Water and hot water System

I just found my manual, and the pressurized water diagram does NOT show a dock connection NOR a expansion tank. I have attached a thumbnail. (you might need to open in s separate tab or window).

Pressurized Water and hot water System

I am a part time boater from the NE (4 or 5 months a year type boater). I do not know this boat 100% but am learning it. Accept for physical limitations due to my age, I am loving working on it and learning it. I have done work I never envisioned (replace hydraulic steering, new remote...

Pressurized Water and hot water System

The dock water simply ties into the system downstream of the pump, but before anything else. This statement I dont understand. Do I have another input for water other than the water tank? I dont know about it if I do....pls explain

Pressurized Water and hot water System

Dennis - I apologize for not being succinct. Today, I filled the FW tank...it did not take as much as I expected, but certainly 5gal+ ?. I am sure the pressurized pump feeds 1) the hot water tank, and 2) the cold water branch. agree? I fixed the leak (loose clamp at the check valve), but it...

Pressurized Water and hot water System

Thx for the replies. I guess (not too much confidence) that all is working. I filled the FW tank (did not seem empty), pressurized/heated the water and found 1 small leak at the check valve near the HW tank, ....seemed minor, but I guess I will run it as is and see what happens. Wish there...

Pressurized Water and hot water System

Thanks for the input. I meant to say the heater does work. Its the pressurized water in general that keeps cycling. Its after a while tho, so it may just be an empty tank at this point....PIA to access and work on tho

Pressurized Water and hot water System

Never used either system too much, but am in a marina this year. Hot water works. Pressurized water (feeding the hot and cold system) hit a point today where it wouldnt stop pumping. Assume its out of water or has a decent leak somewhere (same thing essentially). Any thoughts before I crawl...

    Refridge Down

I have never used it before either. This is the first year I am on a slip and we spend alot of time there. Seems like it would be convenient to have a refer full of drinks and snacks and not have to constantly lug the iglo around....a luxury for sure

    Refridge Down

I see West has a Isothem Cruise 42 that is the same measurements as the Isotherm 49 that many on this forum recommend. It is $100 cheaper. Has anyone installed one of the Isotherm Cruise 42? Does it fit where the Norcold resides? Folks have said the 49's shape fits exactly into a Marlin, I...
