    Please Help. This price seems WAY too high.

    I pulled both my engines off my offshore. Removed the bracket and had it sand blasted and line-xed cost was 410.00 bucks. 1 tube of 3m 5200 12 bucks. All new stainless steele mounting bolts, washers and nuts 65 bucks

    u have pics of the area? On my 84 offshore the only way to gain enough access to some of the thru hull fittings was to cut a hole in the deck then install a deck plate.

    Had a couple of head bolts broke but were easy enough to drill out. The hardest part was getting the bolts free from the mid-section a couple broke and i had to cut into the mid section a little. No real corrosion issues. In the water jackets are anodes so that greatly helps..

    oil problem on yamaha 175

    Had the same problem on my 88 150 yamaha's. Found the lower bottom bolts were missing on the carb baffle causing the gasket not to seal. So when i tilted the engine up same gas/oil would drain out of the carbs then when i tilted the engines back down instant oil leak
