    Noobe Head Questions

Make sure everyone (especially kids) go before leaving the dock/house. If all they have to do is pee when you are out then have them go for a swim or over the side. Although my boat has a similar setup, we have not used it yet and are now going on our third summer with the boat. Unless you are...

    Toe rail removed

We use them to help hold flip flops for everyone on the boat. Makes a great shoe holder, even at speed.

    Rusty Horn

Can't say I have a problem with mine and I almost never polish it. Sits on a mooring uncovered for almost 6 months every year.

    Hull color opinions

Ignoring the nightmare of trying to keep it perfect (and therefore just going with factory color), between celestial and ocean I would choose ocean.

WTB more like what to buy!?

In general, the 228 and 232 are both great boats and similar in many ways. However, coming from a 40' Hatteras, is your wife willing to live with the much smaller cabin and even worse the little potty without a dedicated area?

    Sign, Sealed and Delivered!

Good luck and enjoy her. If you plan on keeping it in that spot of your yard you might want to consider some sort of cover to keep sap off. Not to mention pine needles and anything else.

Is that just a single line going to the dock? What keeps it from moving forward?

Mooring Tricks To Keep The Gulls Away

I don't use anything at my mooring and just pray that other boats are a better target. Thus far I've been pretty lucky and only get like one or two poops per season. (I realize I am jinxing myself now)

    2021 180 fisherman

If all of these issues were present at pick up, I hope you have proof that you pointed them out in some way. It has now been over a year since you got the boat and that provides them with some leverage.

Looking to buy a used 208 Adventure

When I sold my old boat, I had one guy come check it out and he drove a small sedan. He asked if I could tow it to his house 45 minutes away. That was a very quick no and that he would need to figure it out if he wanted the boat. I didn't need that hassle when I had many others interested.

Looking to buy a used 208 Adventure

Both are great boats and in the end you'll be happy either way. However, if one has the choice I think they would almost always lean towards the 228. It's a bigger boat, closed transom, and you can easily tow it with your truck. So the only real consideration at that point would be price and...
