Wow! Just measured at my dock - thirty-three feet. That's with a Danforth on the pulpit and the motor trimmed all the way up.

My marina once told me that my LOA was nearly 30' with the motor raised and an anchor on the pulpit. I'll measure for you today and post my exact findings.

Previous years always stored full, never had a problem. Last year stored nearly empty, lots of problems, changed a lot of filters in the spring. Going back to storing full.

Call the guys at propgods.com. They are amazing when it comes to diagnosing and fixing prop problems. I have no affiliation with them but they worked magic for me on my boat.

I applaud your logic. I called SeaStar, told them what was happening (wet floor on hot days), and a new cap solved my particular problem.

Probably a bad cap gasket. Contact SeaStar and they'll send a couple new ones for free.
