    Hardtop for Seafarer 22

I live on the North Shore of Mass and drove up to Redman Marine Fabricators in ME. They came highly recommended and with good reason, outstanding work. Better than factory. Not the cheapest, but any hard top is going to be expensive. When you start to get quotes you'll find that by spending...

    Just got a 2003 GW208....

Nice, you got a great boat. I just did a hard top on mine and love it. Can't beat vertical storage in a small boat and it really opens it up when fishing. And it looks cool. Other things I have learned, trim tabs are your friend on this hull. Just tab it down in a head sea and go. Also...

    208 New Hardtop

I had it done at Redman Marine in York, ME. I'm on the North Shore and it's only about 45 minutes from me. Not too many fab shops up here, there seem to be a few around Plymouth and some in RI that I didn't really shop. Their base price is more than some other options, but everything is...

    Suggested Pricing ?

How much are they asking? I've seen similar around here (northeast) asking between roughly $15,000-$20,000, on the lower end for 2 strokes, higher for 4 strokes. Like anything though, depends on how bad the seller wants to get rid of it, and how much you're willing to pay.

    208 New Hardtop

Motor is F200. I ran it yesterday and it didn't feel noticeably slower but I wasn't able to make a speed run due to conditions. I was worried it would tow differently but again I didn't notice anything. I tow with an Acura MDX so I'm close to the tow max rating, but with all new trailer...

    208 Adventure on order - Electronic's question

Good choice! What did you go with for power? I have a Humminbird 998c si and a VHF in the box. I like the side imaging and with a Navionics chip the charts are pretty good as well but not as pretty as the Garmin. The 998 is an 8" so the 7" Garmin should fit fine. I will probably end up...

What is a fair price for a used 208 enclosure?

Getting a hard top on my 2007 208 at the end of the month. Pretty excited about that, but I have the full vista top that I will no longer need. I plan on putting it up for sale, both on here and locally. Rear drop curtain was brand new last year, and other canvas and eisenglass is in good...

    Covering a Moored Boat

Have kept enclosure up so far, but I am getting a separate helm station cover for my 208 to go under the new hardtop that I'm getting. Just like to keep the weather off the helm seats, I keep the aft cushions in the cabin when not in use.

Hard top on 208: enclosure vs. none

Really thinking hard about adding a hard top to my 2007 208 with F200 for power. I'm close to a well known fabricator and have seen there work, and it looks quite good. Quoted $4850 for top with electronics box and 4 rocket launchers. However the canvas work for a full enclosure is another...

Survey Issue Today Suggestions Needed on Hard Top Rotting

Re: Survey Issue Today Suggestions Needed on Hard Top Rottin If you're thinking of going non-dealer you may want to call Redman Marine Fabricators in York, ME. Only about a 45 minute drive from Baert and they are well known and regarded when it comes to hard top and fabrication work. Just...

    208 Adventure feedback

I am enjoying my first season with a 2007 208. I have the F200 and it seems like a good match, though the published performance numbers with the 150 are actually quite good (I almost bought one but it sold very quickly). I'd imagine if you were mostly 1-2 people and not loaded the 150 would be...

    New Grady Owner Soon

I saw that boat as well online. I toyed with the idea of trading my new to me this year 208 the price was so good! Oh well...congrats and hopefully the trial goes well. Baert has really impressed me as being a quality outfit and good bunch of people. Even though I bought my boat from a...

    208 washdown question

Thanks for the quick replies. I do have the shower head on the port side of the stern, for fresh water. Boat is in the water now for the season, but my only guess is that I do not have this option. The owners manual makes it sound like it is standard, but I guess not.

    208 washdown question

I have a 2007 208, new to me this year. Based on the excellent 209 discussion previously, I decided I should know where my seacocks are. The livewell one is located on the starboard side of the aft bilge (under the motor tilt plate), and the owners manual states that the raw water one should...

208 rear curtain vs. cockpit cover for moored boat

New 208 owner here. The boat has the standard top, but no rear curtain. It does have the rest of the enclosure, sides and front. I will be keeping the boat in the water so I would like some way of keeping the front seats and electronics protected from the elements. From people who have been...
