The 15 year old deck drains that lead from the cockpit to the transom scuppers have about had it on this 232.
Am changing the scuppers so I know that these drains will have to go as well. Which replacement ones have worked for you guys?

Would like to find out the normal screw length used for the plastic transom thru hull w/ the black rubber flappers. If I recall it was about 1.5" and screwed into the transom as well.
Just want to make sure.
Got two on the fritz that I would like to change out. The ones that illuminate with that yellow/green dot when on.

A lot of times even if no water comes out of the upper test holes that are drilled, the moisture / water gets wicked up the transom through the wood.
If there was enough 'soak time', the wood higher up will be dark with moisture as well.
Think before you mount it in that spot. I think you are going to get 'bubbled' very badly if you put any ducer there. Test it once you open things up.
I have never heard of a ducer mounted so far forward on a 228.
