    Freshwater system issue

I can't read the model numbers off the water heater. The 6-gallon Kuuma I see online looks the same. On this diagram the upper right is the hot water pressure blowoff line. The lever arm should be down - otherwise the tank will fill and overflow to the drain. Top left is hot water out to your...

While you are in there clean the strainer on the water pump. The hose that is hanging may be the cold water into the water heater. May have been removed and left hanging to drain it for winter. This is my best guess as to what the problem is. I always look for something the "technician" last...

How about this... 2010 Marlin owners manual. Not sure what changed on a Marlin over 10 years but I'll bet it's pretty close. GW site has archive of Owners Manuals.

Thanks for the hot water info and I really appreciate the help. It would also help if you read every reply I make so I don't make them twice. :):) Sorry to inconvenience you. Try getting you answers on The Hull Truth or Facebook Grady White Group.

    Freshwater system issue

The water heater is a flow thru container. Don't power it on for now. It has nothing to do with your problem other than the freshwater pump may be trying to fill it. Nothing will come out of your hot water lines (other than air) until the hot water tank fills. The water heater is a branch off...

    Freshwater system issue

Help us help you! Did GW give you a plumbing diagram? If so can you post it? Want to know if they show water line branches off the pump and what fixtures are on each branch. My pump is midship and branches forward to rally sink, hot water heater (removed and bypassed) then to the head sink...

    3 way fuel selector-Moeller 033302-10

This has since been cleaned up but I marked the pointy indicator end with nail polish. On my old Egg Harbor they ground the pointer off and the handle was the indicator. Of course I made a mistake or two flipping valves with my GW. Valves mounted inside storage compartment top of photo is...

    Hardtop Mounted Outriggers

Mine was chalking too. Heavy sanding. Epoxy fairing. Seal with AwlGrip primer (roll or brush). Light sand again. Topcoat. Depending on the level of finish you want you really have to repeat the above. What feels flat may not be optically flat. If you want that "car hood" finish you have to work...

    I pad mount

And what does it talk to? Garmin MFD? Generally iPads are poor choice for helm use instead of a multifunction display. Not waterproof, hard to see in bright sun. Maybe for a second display. But screen resolution won't be better than your MFD even though the iPad has significantly more pixels...

    Hardtop Mounted Outriggers

It is a tremendous amount or rework to install the rigger bases like the factory does. My hardtop was in bad shape cosmetically and my plan was to refinish it. Look at the pictures above in post #28. One thing led to another. Eventually my goal was a high level of finish. By the way - it's...

Delamination port side - down to bottom paint

HMBJack's repair is the right way to do it. It won't be cheap though. A good shop is important but I would want a shop that has done this type of repair before. Some may tell you to use GitRot or foam. It may work but you won't get a full strength repair without getting all the wet coring...

    Freshwater system issue

Most of the GW pluming does not have filters. Faucets might have screens. I have seen them clog. If you take the hose off the fixture you will know. I'm thinking a clog in line for the series of fixtures that are not working. Without air you could try to backflush with water. Or snake with...

    Freshwater system issue

Probably gunked up. I don't have this boat but have worked on my Islander water system. Start by downloading the owners Manuel from GW site. See if there are multiple feeds off the fresh water pump (parallel lines) vs a long run (series system). May be a combo of series and parallel. Finding the...

S3213 fuel/water separator filter- Racor vs China noname from Amazon

I'm less concerned about dirt than I am about water. I like the ability to see what is in the filter bowl. With the Yamaha can you have to drop them and dump them to see how much water you picked up - if any. My Yamaha engine only have a water sensor on one engine - assumption being water...

Delamination port side - down to bottom paint

I’m not sure if GW cores the sides but that’s what it looks like to me. Could be wet core delamination. Call customer service and ask. Need feedback from similar boat model and age and how they fixes it.

S3213 fuel/water separator filter- Racor vs China noname from Amazon

West Marine is inconsistent. When they didn't have what I wanted they fumbled around. I got a Raycor on the shelf from them but don't trust it. Amazon got me what has been working for me.
