Same boat, same radar, flush mounted, no issues. I've been able to pick up birds from a few miles away with the GMR Fantom 18 and it has saved my a$$ more than a few times in zero/zero visibility fog.

Looks amazing and I'm about to order some for my Grady. I'm debating between red and blue backlight. How is the blue light when you are running at night?

It's actually 3/16" ABS with carbon fiber laminate available on Amazon here - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AMBA62S/ Very flexible and sturdy so we didn't have to use starboard as backing - just mounted on top of existing dash area.

I’ll take a picture of the backside next time I’m on the boat. They did have to trim out some of the existing dash to make the 10” screens both fit.
