Yes I recognized the one I cut this morning and concentrated on switch. Back together and working like new.

    Gulfstream 232 bilge pump/switch

Took the bilge switch out and discovered the pin was broken on the left side of the float causing it to catch. Probably broken for some time But replaced with new and redid all connections in the bilge area (last ones from when I purchased two years ago. Real pain to put back in due to my size...

    Gulfstream 232 bilge pump/switch

Got out to the boat and both batteries down where turning key was nothing. Charged back up and heard small noise coming from bilge. Appears the bilge pump might have drained batteries down. Disconnected pump wire and it of course stopped. Question is whether the pump or switch is most likely the...

    Factory gauges wiring help needed

Just went through this and found this to be super helpful. I printed it out and taped it to where I could see it easily and started from the top gauges down. Had one loose connection I had to find on starboard tach otherwise every thing worked.

2000 Gulfstream rear hatch door question

Has anyone swapped out rear panel hatches on a 232 with larger hatches? I ask as my 2000 has square 13x13 flush mount doors to get to battery and fuel tank switches but can’t find them anywhere so thought the 13 width might be ok but just go up some. Not sure how much work it might be.

    Wipers vs no wipers

In all my years I have hardly ever sat at the console but rather stand next to for better overall vision. Similar to others if I sit, I am looking over the top of the glass. I do once in a while get spray and wasn’t sure if the ocean might be different.

    Wipers vs no wipers

As I slowly clean up and make modifications to my 232, curious how many use their wipers while in the ocean. I have been a boater for over forty years on Lake Champlain and never had a need to use wipers - rain or shine. Will be retiring to the ocean at some point with the 232, and wondering if...

    2000 Gulfstream 232 U-Shaped Rear Seat Backrest

Been looking at previous post but not sure any thing was relevant. The “queen” never been fond on the 232 due to her throne being the rear seat and the backrest has come apart at the seams and the cushion is shot. Personally I never put in unless she is coming out but have been ordered to fix...

I would rather put the $500 plus into fuel! A beer and hotdog much cheaper on the DebbaDoo II.

    2023 Dockage Rates

On Lake Champlain I will pay the minimum $3300 for a slip (approx $108/ft). Electrical an extra $350 from mid May to mid October. I have 1/2 ownership in a mooring in my bay but it faces the hard south winds and waves so hardly use. Marina has newly renovated club house and offers services if...
