    Enclosure aluminum rivets?

There were definitely rivets there beforehand. Not sure how they popped out but two of them did and noticed my portside vinyl flopping around up top. I've pretty handy but never used a rivet gun, let alone one for aluminum? Any pointers are appreciated.

    Enclosure aluminum rivets?

I have a 282 sailfish and while doing maintenance I noticed 2 of the "rivets" that hold the track for the vinyl enclosure had popped or broke off from the aluminum hardtop piping. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

ANY GRADY CLUBS IN OR NEAR BROOKLYN NY

    Electronics 101

Furuno just did a series of videos that best describes the differences in each of the latest and greatest models from 4 major brands. I believe there's 6 videos out now and are an easy series to watch. Granted they are a bit furuno biased, but it gives you a good idea of each brand. Just Google...

    Thru-hull scupper on 282

Ok the dealer nearest me is totally incompetent at least in their parts dept. They couldn't find the part number in their system. I called another dealer further away and they were able to look up the parts with no issues so I'm ordering with them. Thank you for everyone helping out here.

    Thru-hull scupper on 282

And not to ramble but here was the response from Grady earlier as well:. Here’s the thru hull fitting chart that shows the locations and the part #’s. The scuppers GW part # 11-463 are made by PERKO, INC. (ph#305-621-7525) and their item # is 377 A08 CHR SHORT SCUPPER. This fitting is obsolete...

    Thru-hull scupper on 282

Definitely going with bronze. Ky thanks for that chart, extremely helpful. I put a call into the local dealer, used that part# 11-657, and they are going to call me back after they confirm it's the correct fit. I told them about the old vs new part# and that they should be similar, but they just...

    Thru-hull scupper on 282

Ky, I googled the part # and all I could find is a Grady parts catalog from 2007 referencing that part number as the correct part (short scupper). Who is the manufacturer of part #???

    Thru-hull scupper on 282

These are thru Hull scuppers that exit the side of the boat, not transom. They connect to the deck drains. I may just calling them tomorrow and see if I can get an answer on it. I hate calling usually because I know those guys over there are always busy and figured email is the easiest on them.

    Thru-hull scupper on 282

Thank you for the replies. Seasick, not sure if mine has the flapper, to be honest never noticed if it did or didn't. Ky, thanks any help is appreciated. I emailed Grady but I think they're a bit delayed over there lately, so hoping to order these soon.

    Thru-hull scupper on 282

I've done an extensive search and just curious if anyone has the part number to the original/replacement thru-hull scuppers that are connected to the deck drains? I'm debating on using this one: https://www.greatlakesskipper.com/perko-boat-thru-hull-0350-plated-bronze-4-1-4-x-3-inch Thru-hull

scupper deck fitting replacement - 2005 282 Sailfish

Just so I'm not confused , as I'll be doing this job in the next month or so. On a sailfish the port side can be done without adding an access hole. I would have to remove the panel with the battery switches tho correct? Thanks again!

    New to me! 2001 Sailfish

Congratulations on the new boat! I have the same year and model. A bunch of great guys here on greatgrady and a wealth of knowledge. A few pointers to look at right away, as mentioned the rear deck drains/hoses, mine aren't shot "yet" but I'm planning on getting them redone next year...

05/06 250 yahmaha feedback on exhaust corrosion

I have 2005 f250s on the same boat. Aprox 1100 hrs on both. No issues scoped every year by my yamaha mech. Not to say there can't be damage from corrosion in the block, but not going to remove the head obviously. To my understanding some had it and some didn't. From all I've read, usually the...
