Anyone ever clean out the fresh water tank and how did you do it?

The photos from the Sally rebuild Show I started with 1000 grit and moved to a 12 and 1500 depending on the area and severity. 3M finish It compound and polish. Doing pretty nice job but the labor part is killing me.

Not sure about yours but on the 03 there are 2 long arm valve pulls near the transom. One is for the live well the other for the raw water wash down.

I had Eddie English trailers in Milton fl build mine. Great guys quality product. Fits the boat perfectly.

Paid 5300 for a 228. Had them over build it for up to 10lbs but well worth it.

Anyone have a lead on the rubber bumpers or stoppers around the cabin door? seems to be a mystery item for me. Need to replace them all as they have rotted away over the years.

Seeing the shine on your boat makes me feel like I have a friend. Been doing the same on a 2003. Sand with 1500 to 2000 grit wet sand and buff with a Makita 7" wool buffer using 3M finishIt compound wax. The inside is a bit more of a PIA. Using a 3" wool pad on my drill for the smaller spaces...

Not really any bend it just pounded the top straight down till the support legs broke.

May need to replace the curtains. They’ve been folded and stored for awhile. Any approx cost on a new set of curtains for 228 seafarer?

Spoke with him it’s all good he’s rebuilding it to be a lot more weather friendly. Looking forward to seeing his finished product.
