The photos from the Sally rebuild Show I started with 1000 grit and moved to a 12 and 1500 depending on the area and severity. 3M finish It compound and polish. Doing pretty nice job but the labor part is killing me.
Anyone have a lead on the rubber bumpers or stoppers around the cabin door? seems to be a mystery item for me. Need to replace them all as they have rotted away over the years.
Seeing the shine on your boat makes me feel like I have a friend. Been doing the same on a 2003. Sand with 1500 to 2000 grit wet sand and buff with a Makita 7" wool buffer using 3M finishIt compound wax. The inside is a bit more of a PIA. Using a 3" wool pad on my drill for the smaller spaces...
