    I can't help you with the carpet, but as an FYI... YKK makes a seld-adhesive snap fastener call SNAD... You can use them to avoid having to drill/screw the fasteners on the deck.

    When I bought my 2018 306 Canyon with "C Series" F350s, I discussed it with service manager at my local GW/Yamaha dealer. He told me to avoid the "A & B Series" motors. He said the "C Series" are fine.

    If you go the DYI route, make sure to bundle the wires (as suggested in post #4) and perhaps label them. It is VERY easy to get wires confused, miss a ground, etc. Good luck with it. I would also suggest taking a few pictures.

    I'd budget $25k. Are you including a VHF, radio, antennas, GPS antenna, a mount for the RADAR, autopilot? Plus, there are going to be a bunch of incidentals: cables, sealants, antenna mounts, misc. hardware, etc. It adds up pretty qickly. At the risk of spending your money, get what you want...

    Hi, Regarding the fuel consumption with the F350s. I have a 2018 Canyon 306 with twin F350s ("C" Series). I cruise at 30 MPH getting 1.4 MPG. (boat goes through most anything at 26-30 MPH) If I run at 47 MPH or greater, then it drops to .8 - 1 MPG. Given that you said you don't fast, fuel...
