Sorry I just got the boat last week and don't have the fuel numbers.

I've got a 272 (same hull) with T/225 OX66's cruise in the low to mid thirties no problem. WOT on recent seatrial with full fuel load topped out at 45 MPH. IMO a great combo.

Please don't hit me..... :D :D While searching the possible purchase of new Optima batteries it seems that none of the Bluetop Marine dual purpose batteries meet the minimum requirement for reserve capacity as set forth by Yamaha for my 225 OX66 motors. Are the Yammy specs ( 182 min.) too...

I believe that the 282 replaced the 272 in the 2002 production year. I find it hard to believe that adding 50 gallons to the fuel storage and changing a couple of windows warranted a model change. I just want to see if I'm missing something major before I purchase.

Beams are the same according to GW specs.

In a nut shell can someone please explain the differences between a 272 and a 282. Looked at the specs and the only difference seemed to be the fuel capacity. Thanks.
