I had a Gulf. Great boat my personal take is it is very hard to handle when docking in the wind or current.(I found it hard to dock with twins if the wind was above 20) If you want a single you might consider a different Grady. That is just my take. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I can tell you I average a little over 1 mpg with twin 250 OX66. I had twin 225 on a gulfstream the fuel was slightly better. I thought the 150 got about 2 mpg. When was the last tune up?? My sweet spot seems around 3800-4000. The oldies where good but not known for good fuel consumption

I have been talking to several different Grady owners and I noticed that many spend there days out 40 + miles. Many in boats under 26 ft. All say they feel perfectly comfortable. How far out do you take your boat?? Mine seems to be around forty, It is a effort to get away from the crowds.

The detailing cost 1150. Thirty dollars a foot plus cabin. The inside was nasty cabin had been let go for years. The exterior had to be compounded then waxed. It had not chalked but was close. They also cleaned the curtains. I did the Gulfstream myself took about three days the marlin was to big.

Thanks for your help. Replaced fuel filters, low pressure fuel pump, Cleaned O2 sensor, water pumps, Plugs and oil res. sensor. She ran great :dance . Just need to put new headliner.

I insured at a value of 20,000 I do not think I will get that lucky again. I did get the motors running smooth. Just needed TLC. The cushions are shot am saving them for a patterns. The head liner needs replacement, thinking carpeting???? Will post pics tomorrow. The detailer did a assume job...

Went out 40 miles sunday decided the forest should be taken with a grain of salt. Still nice day though picked up acouple nice dolphin. Looking at XM or Sirius weather for Garmin 740s. The 51 seems to be cheapest but only goes out 40 miles? Sirius has no limitations??/ What do you all use?? Thanks
