I added a second VHF with AIS late last year which I connected the antenna previously used on the old VHF. Didn't get around to seeing where second antenna was wired to connect to the old VHF.
Dumb question but without being able to trace out I know someone will know the answer to this. On a factory 2005 Marlin, what is the second antenna originally intended for? Is it just VHF redundancy or is it something with XM?
Springfield helm chair in the off white matches pretty well to the Grady cream.
Btw, is the "what did you do to your Grady today" thread gone or buried?
8 YFT at the west side elbow on Saturday on a buddies boat. Took the Grady to Little Italy/Monster Ledge on Sunday but didn't get anything. Ton of whales but didn't see much bait or mark many fish.
Do you have a Dometic thermostat? If so, look up how to put the system in "test" mode. I believe its holding down the power button on thermostat while cycling power at the breaker. The system will run 10 mins of cooling, 10 mins of just fan and 10 mins of heating. If it blows cold during this...
I spoke to a Lee's rep at a boat show recently asking for something similar. He said just measure the base inside diameter and email them and they can come up with an adapter (I would probably buy direct if going this route).
Added a tablet at the helm for backup maps, media controller, weather, etc. Ran HDMI to USB C cable through hard top tubing into overhead electronics space and connected to 12V TV mounted to door. TV is only really useful at night.
Also built a panel with USB/USB C for phone/tablet charging and...
Has anyone used any of the name brand telescoping poles (1-1/2" x 15' or 1-1/2" x 18') on the stock Grady mounts? Appears the stock mounts are 2" and was wondering if anyone came up with a way to adapt the 1-1/2" pole to the 2" mount.
I'm tired of taking them down every time I go out of the...
I'm not sure my thermostat has a sensor on the bezel like I read it does. I'm thinking the original unit always had the aux temp sensor.
FYI, you can go into the programming - https://productimageserver.com/literature/ownersManual/88006OM.pdf and put the system into a test mode which will run...
Yes, exactly. You don't have the remove all 4 screws just loosen enough to pull the panel off the bracket.
I went in thinking I was adding the remote temp sensor but it turned out there was already one existing. It's located behind the vent under the stairs.
