    A couple questions about a 228 Seafarer...

    I have a 250 Suzuki on my '97 228G which I believe is perfect for this boat. I recently came across this '97 226 for sale repowered with 150hp four-stroke. I believe this boat is definitely underpowered. They will have a hard time selling this one...

    Gulfstream Repower

    I recommend contacting Outboard Specialties in Pompano Beach for a quote. I used them for repower. They shipped the engine to me in Kent Island and I had someone local install the engine.

    2002 Seafarer 228 repower

    I too, re-powered last year with a Suzuki DF250AP. Its a great Great engine! I purchased from Outboard Specialties. I highly recommend them and they sponsor the site too.
