    Any other documentation? Thanks for what you shared so far. Think I'm going to remove the inside 3/4" plywood and replace with a pc of aluminum. 3/4"x4" and extend past where the plywood ends and tie into the stringers.

    The transom of my '95 268 has seen better days. Removed the twin engines, removed the Bang cap and fiberglass cap. Next I find a piece of aluminum the width of the engine well, ~60 inches in length, mounted on the top surface of the transom (~2") then bends down on the inside of the transom...

    What I'm referring to is the fact that the hull/keel doesn't go all the way to the transom...that's what I meant by stepped hull.
