The 2 gauges with blue tape are the tachometers. The gauge with three plugs used is the speedo and the final gauge is the fuel management. Hopefully this gets you going in the right direction

My panel is ripped apart right now so I can take pictures if it helps. My motors are 2005 f225’s so not sure if it will help though. They are the old round style gauge. Just let me know

i will be starting this project next week. What type of gasket did you put behind the panels? I assume I can get something from Home Depot that will work. Thanks!

Looks like I need a new one for the 265 transom. The part number stamped on it is 315\668\2172 unless that is a phone number and GW 10-49 or 149. I’ll call tomorrow and update this thread in case it helps someone in the future.

ok. I think that I might have this figured out, but it requires new hydrauli lines because I can’t figure out if the Parker fittings will work with the 1500psi hose. I went to Parker and they said that they are a competitor to sea star and have no idea if it will work. Anyway, if I buy two...

Marine glass is still doing replacement. Just did by 265 vent window. Not cheap, but it is exact.

There is no good reason for the 1500. I have the hh5741 1.7 tilt helm that says 1000psi on it! She has a single ram, not pro, with a tie bar. I can only assume that when the 2005 motors were put on the 2003 ( it was in 2005 I’m told) hull they swapped out the hoses for some reason???? I...

Interested too. Just did my 265 (she was so neglected) and these points were challenging. I taped off with blue tape and did the best I could with the rotary and then by hand. For wax I did the best I could with the small da and then by hand.

Never mind. It won’t work with just a wedge. You’ll lose a lot of coverage due to the beam hitting the hardtop and bow. Either way, glad I found this thread! I’m relocating the radar to the front of the hardtop with a 6” tower. Gotta figure out how to patch the 1” hole from the old cables...

Yes, I just did this yesterday. Installed two new switches and works like new. The above directions are correct and Digikey has like a million of the switches and rubber boots in stock.

So the Rivnuts appear to be aluminum and most of the screws appear to be SS. Will there be an issue with these metals? I haven’t seen aluminum screws. I have seen some type of steel rivnuts but it doesn’t say stainless of any grade.
