Were you out fishing in a 180 around Stonington/Watch Hill yesterday, 9/18?

I was on a boat running beside you and wanted to ask a question. thanks, Rob

Clean your own boat? Try this.

I bought a Shurhold system also but I got the blue "Soft" brush head, too soft for blood n' guts. I was thinking about the red combo brush with the stiff center. Which do you use?

In hull transducer on a 180CC?

Yeah, well, common sense has prevailed, going with the transom mount which will also give me temps. I may look into cutting that access hatch though...

In hull transducer on a 180CC?

Has anyone done this? I just purchased a Garmin 943xsv with an in-hull transducer and now I'm wondering if I'll be able to even mount it, seems like impossible access to get down in there. Anyone?

Who made a custom cutting board for the rear rail on their 180 CC?

Somewhere here I saw a post with a custom made cutting board that was attached to the rail in front of the engine well, would like to see pics again but cannot find it.

First ever trip on my 2004 180.

Too much sand, no structure? I would think fluking would be good.

First ever trip on my 2004 180.

You can try Norwalk Cove Marina, they are the largest one and have transient docking but quite a walk to S. Norwalk. Closer to the S. Norwalk center you can try Rex Marine. The S Norwalk "Sono" area has all the shops and restaurants.

    180 Sportsman Trim Tabs

Circling back to this, I went with Lectrotabs. Installing the tabs was straightforward, wiring was a breeze. Operation is easy with the touchpad and they make a substantial difference with a Honda 150 hanging off the transom....

Cool looking new product from Garmin - Garmin GPSMAP 943xsv

Hookup, Is your 943 flush mounted or on the bail? If it's on the bail would you mind measuring the total height from bottom of bail to top of unit? I want to put one on my 180 but the sloping windshield may prevent that. thanks, Rob

180 CC Dashboard Circuit Breaker & Switch Replacement?

My running lights weren't turning on, I traced the problem to a faulty 10A dashboard circuit breaker which was only putting 6VDC through. This is a small rubber button next to the switch on the dash. I tried removing the dash but the 6 mounting screws have frozen, the first one snapped right...

    Rinse fuel tank compartment?

That's what mine looks like also, an unfinished, angled, end with glass fibers protruding. Hard to get a plug to seal. Also, if this line was plugged, how would you know if the tank is leaking? It's a sealed compartment.

    Rinse fuel tank compartment?

Hence the manual's recommendation... "The access plates on your fuel tank lids keep the fuel compartments sealed. Over time, the opening and closing of these plates causes the o-rings to wear-out. Replace these o-rings as necessary to maintain the watertight integrity of the plates."
