Nifty you are thinking of neoprene as in a dive suit you are correct. The neoprene I’m talking about can be purchased in rolls. .312 X 2.0 . It is hard rubber which is difficult to cut with a utility knife. Then glue it down with 4200

I made my tank out of 5052-H32 .187 thick. Pressure tested to 4 psi. I did not paint it at all . I read it really doesn’t protect it that much and some manufacturers are not doing it at all. 1990 Seafarer. The hard plastic seat base that the cushions attach to are stained. Does anyone know how to clean them up? I have tried everything I can think of . It seems like the stain is set in the plastic. Thank for any input.

well i finally got it off. It was loaded with 5200. KI had to lift and slice with a fillet knife. But it came off I won't be using 5200. I really can't see the reason for it Thanks for your imput. G

I did think it may be 5200, because it is absolutely murder trying to get it off. I’m going to try it again today Thanks G

That's exactly what I did. I removed the 4 bolts and the one that has the cleat attached to the 3/4" bolt that goes into the anchor locker. It must be held down by all of gthe caulk. I'm going to attack it again tomorrow. Thanks for your imput. I wanted to see if I was missing something. G

Need some help here. Trying to remove the pulpit off of my 1990 Seafarer. everything has been removed and it doesn't want to budge. Could it be all of teh caulk under it? I cannot figure what is holding it. Any help[ would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks
