Does anyone know if the 1990 seafarer came with gaskets on all of the covers , like battery, live well, and storage compartments.
Thanks in advance

My '82 didn't. But at this point, it's a moot point as to whether or not it did/didn't have them. If it currently doesn't, add them if you want to. Decent quality foam rubber, stick-on weatherstrip is an easily sourced option.

Thanks . The issue is even when it rains I get water in the storage compartments. That’s what I’m trying to eliminate. Thanks for the reply

Yup, I added it to my fish boxes and it's worked well. I put the foam on the lid side. Most of the problem was from all of the water running down the walkway to the bow.

That’s exactly what I have. It’s running down from the bow and it brings all the dirt with it and the boxes don’t ever stay clean

It's been probably 4 or 5 years since I did this "mod" But I don't recall using anything too special. If I recall, I did something like (after cleaning the lid real well) putting wax paper on the box side of the lip, then some clay/putty in a few spots on top of that, then closed the lid. When I opened the lid back up, the clay was sticking to the spots on the lid where I wanted the foam-rubber and then I just made some marks to follow.

I'm not at the boat right now... but I think the foam-rubber I used was a little too thick and the lid stuck up a bit. I think I took some of the foam-rubber back off on the aft side of the lid (and maybe a bit on the sides) and that let the lid close better. Although, it probably would have squashed down over time.
