So the plates were definitely part of the problem. Water intrusion has slowed a lot but I have a leak where the water goes back out to the thru hull flapper. It appears that the flange is broken and there is a hole down to the bilge. Whats the best way to repair this?

3 Beckson screw in access plates 4200ed in. I’ll put the hose to it tomorrow to see if that fixed that potential contributor to the problem. I have some friends fishing Friday so we’ll see if I get water in elsewhere. I have the camera recommended above so I’ll bring that with.

Holy Crap! Water was gushing into the bilge from all 3 plates. I just put the hose on and looked through the inside the cockpit access plate. Doesn’t take long at all to raise the float switch to turn on. New plates and 4200 will be here on Tuesday so I’m thinking that this was my problem...

I just opened the three plates in the splash well. I have never seen plates open so easily. Definitely seals are shot. ordered 3 new screw in types to replace. Howeve, I don’t think that this is the water intrusion point. All three of them had dry dirt/dust or whatever falling out of them...

I just paid about $10k for two new tanks, all hoses and fuel lines, including labor on my 265. Probably could have gotten it cheaper but I wanted it done so I can use the boat this summer. Should have it back this week. This is in Maryland

Well the tanks are in. Not much in the way of pictures but here’s a few. The sea trial/leak test found that the motors would only get to about 4500rpm’s. No leaks though! every filter has been changed on the motors so the injectors were pulled and sent out for cleaning. Hope to have them...

Skunk, did you try the dealer? They should be able to get one. D handle is # 30-329.

The T handle is part #30-179 and the D handle is # 30-329. I think that I have an old T handle part around here somewhere that I could probably sell you if interested.
