Do you mean a compass, or something else? "Binnacle" is generally a "fashion of mounting" - not an actual thing (or at least, not commonly used for that).

It sounds like you're installing a captain's chair... MSP is going the other way, installing a B-2-B... so slightly different in how it's mounted (see above). One "could" use a couple Togglers for a B-2-B - but it's overkill.
