Just changed my pump and added a filter, my old pump would work occasionally even with my head in the compartment could never tell if it was on or off,I tap it with a screw driver it would work that lasted a few time prior to not working at all. Easy to change less than $100

A little late for my suggestion but maybe a winter project ,I removed my dash and side panels and took them to a body shop and had them painted off white GW and got rid of the brown ,painted the wood trim black , you can purchase vinyl paint also ,really improved the boat .

I would think faded ,if you order gel coat repair it will more beige than white .
