    Head/macerator/confusion

Not new to boating or Grady's, but new to heads. I have a 257 fisherman and from what I can tell a head plumbed to a tank with a pump out. There is a macerator. I'm struggling with two things. If there's a tank, should I see any of the waste after you pull the handle and release it. Seems the...

    Head

I do have one more follow up, what is keeping the potti stable in its position? Is it bolted into the deck usually?

    Head

Thanks that's been my issues, eyes on it. This is my newer Grady I got at end of season and little chilly out before the marina stacked it. I do think there's a macerator. The boat came with a few rolls of TP in it LOL from past owner so it was an active bowl. I'm thinking I don't want it tied...

    Head

Hi, not new to boating, but I never had a head. I now have a 2017 257 fisherman with a head and holding tank and macerator and I'm clueless. What's the story? Do you put water in top tank for the flush? Do you press macerator after done? How in the world do you pump it out? Can't I simply take...

    Bimini help

Hi, here's my pride and joy. Question on Bimini. It's a challenge putting it down and getting it folded up in its boot in the bow simply because I have to unhook it from one set and move it to another and it's hard to do, especially for one person. Anyone have any advice? Should I try to get it...

    Flag In Bow?

I have a 1994 Grady White 209 Escape. In great shape and absolutely love the boat for boating out in Sandy Hook Bay in NJ. It's summer time and just wondering anyone's thoughts on flying the flag in the bow. The Escape has a nice flag mast in the rail at center and I know protocol is fly the...

200 HPDI Yamaha Two Stroke Gas

Hi all, I have an old 1994 Grady White 209 Escape. You can say it's old and not that big, but man do I love the boat. So much free space and rides great. I have a 200 Yamaha HPDI two stroke. I know it's an old engine and not the most environmentally friendly but again I love it. Very fast out of...

    Grady white 209 escape cushions

I'm sure this will be impossible, but if you look at this picture, I have the back bolster cushions (original) but dont' have the bottom seat cushions any more. I know I'll never get a prefect match with the Grady stripes but love to just get white ones so have seat cushions. Any ideas?

    1994 209 Escape Seacock live well/raw water

Very helpful guys. I'm assuming you would recommend I shut the seacock when in slip and not in use? Still trying to figure out if the live well is worth the trouble. With all going on haven't been able to use it yet, but doe it have any kind of aeration. I see like a metal grate in there but...

    1994 209 Escape Seacock live well/raw water

Have a 1994 209 Escape. I am trying to understand the live well and raw water wash down seacock system. When I hit live well the raw water wash down goes on. I'm assuming I need to use seacock to change to live well. I see that under bolster seat in stern. But also see another valve just in...
