Just for reference if this helps. I replaced a b744 with a b765hl on my 2001 sailfish transducer flat, no fairing (wouldn't fit). The b744 held at all speeds and the b765hl holds till about 30ish maybe 35mph. I also installed a pair of rv220 in the aft bilge connected to my axiom pro.

I have an 01 and go tuna fishing a few times a year out of breezy point. No issues at all. I think 85 miles is my Max distance. But end up running a total of 200 for the day. Good weather, optimal cruise speed to conserve fuel.

I'm in the same boat as you wahoo, 2005 f250s , m19 props and I max out at 44-45mph with light load, fresh scrape/paint and tail wind. But I do cruise at between 3800-4200. For some reason my engines hummmm so beautifully in that range.

I think you'll be fine with the power aspect. No speed demon, but sufficient. The 272/282 came with option 200 hpdi outboards and I'm pretty sure the new zukes produce more torque than them. .

I have a sailfish but similar height. My holders are way to high to grab them without doing a monkey swing with one hand. Not easy when out in the ocean. I'm trying to find a mobile welder to have them dropped 5 inches. Just something to think about before the install.

Not sure if they have them but try McMaster? They usually have odd stuff.

I actually just purchased the attwoods on boatID for $32 each. Everywhere else was higher.
