no problem, I was posting the same threads before I did it. I got the whole Job done for $700 and it took a half day. The best part was checking the transom and confirming that it was solid and bone dry! Good luck with it. Once it’s done you’ll never have to worry about the transom. Still don’t...

I would defiantly recommend at least sealing the seam with 5200. Such a crappy design no idea why they wouldn’t glass that over. I also noticed that the nuts on the inside of the transom (bottom 2) were starting to pull through the gelocoat. I added a backing plate while the motor was off .

I had a stainless steel bang plate made by a metal shop on the spot in 10 minutes. It’s also worth it to fiberglass over the seam on the transom while the motor is off

I am defiantly going to upgrade the spreader lights. I like the Lunitec Caprera red/white. I too would also like to wire the spreader to a different switch. Was that fairly easy to do?

Spot on. The gasket was stuck on there like you wouldn’t believe. Got it off and replaced the switch, back in business !

I finally got the light off and changed out the switch. This new light sounds awesome? Do you have the model number ?

Does anyone know how to remove the dome light to access and replace the spreader light switch? I’ve removed the cover and the 2 small nuts. The light is still solid as a rock and I don’t know what’s holding it on.

I took the cover off. Removed the 2 small nuts and the thing is still solid as a rock i have no idea what’s holding it on?

Does anyone know how to remove the fixture to change the switches? I took the cover off... took both nuts off the mounting screws and this thing is still mounted solid can’t budge it. What he holding it on still??
