Re: 265 Repower (espcially those with 2001 hulls) I have a 2001 with 2006 Yamaha 250's. I have not raised the scuppers and have had no problems. They are lower but it makes little difference esspecially when on the water.

I have the same boat and bought a 3 axle trailer and havent looked back. Withe this setup you are right on the edge of needing a 3x. If you trailer alot go 3x. I love the ride. Also got E/H brakes, what a dream. Just don't get a brakerite system.

Well I finally finished it. What do you think? It pulls like a dream no flex or stress as far as I can tell. Keeps the trap high off the rail too so as to not scratch the side. Between this set up and the Ace line hauler we pulled a total of 773 dungeoness this season.

I too run marathons. No problems YET. I'm sure you checked, but it is extreamly important to maintain max pressure on your tires. The chunking must have been from something on the road. Found this interesting not. Goodyear says run tires 10 psi over if your trailering > 65 mph...

Well, I really don't want to drill more holes int he fiberglass. And to mount the bulsters they make you have to remove the rub rails from the inside which I do not want to do either. Not to mention loss of space, trip haz. I think the design I have will get the puller higher so the traps clear...

You really think it will bend the hard top supports? There are two welded 2" tubes. I can hang on it and it doesn't even flex and thats 250 lbs. Hmm
