You are exactly right .I was able to push the fitting thru from the outside.Thankfully I noticed it on land.Anyone on this board who thought they looked fine I would not want to go fishing with you guys.

Thanks for all the responses.Boat is 2000 265 express.The scuppers i'm talking about are on the back of the boat and are what the deck drains through.I need to replace starboard side.See picture they sit below the waterline and same boat in marina has same setup.Thanks
