I use the fresh water tank on the boat all of the time. I have a hose with a "T" that does both yamahas at once. As long as you got water coming out the "P" hole you are good. I would also recomend that you put a Salt Away attachment on there and flush with Salt Away. It DOES make a difference.

WOW I have twin 2002 F225's, right in the zone that was described. I have seen no indications of a problem. Sounds like I had better start watching closer. This year I also started using Saltaway during the flush. We have always flushed after EVERY run, hopefully that makes a difference...

I have 19's on my 282 F225's. At WOT get 5600 rpm and I am right at 49 MPH. I had about 100 gal of gas, a full tank of water and 2 people on board.

Haydn, is the switch for the pump on that new pannel? It sounds like you are going to have to shot gun it by eliminating the pannel and going straight to the pump to determine where the fault is. I confirmed the plumbing on my 282 as I described it to you. Ken

The answer is almost yes. Nearly all of the breakers are located on the back side of the accessory pannel. There should be another fuse block under your helm steering on the balkhead. Acess to the accessory breakers is two fold. There is a pannel in the head held in place by four screws...
