Bifold door latch to keep open 330 express 2007

https://www.westmarine.com/whitecap-door-holder-with-cushion-316-stainless-steel-15578768.html I used this latch to upgrade my 2003 Express. Works great - positive lock when door is open.

Lewmar Pro Fish 700/1000 Windlass on a Marlin 300

I replaced the original Horizon windlass on my 330 Express with the Lewmar Pro Fish 700 about a year ago. I use 50 feet of chain. So far, I'm happy.

    Humorous "DOH" moment

My moment came when my grandson showed me how he put protective covers on my twin Yamahas. He clipped the cover strap in place BEFORE working the covers over the engine. I've been struggling with installation for years - trying to buckle up last! He definitely helped this old man!

2004 330 Express rear facing seat foot rests

Turns out that White Water's two offerings are too wide and too narrow. An inner span of 19 - 20 inches would be perfect.

    Chain vs nylon anchor rode

Chain is heavy & bulky - are you having a problem holding? What anchor do you have? I would suggest more chain, but not all chain. I have a 2003 330 Express, with a Delta 22 lb. anchor, 50 ft. of 1/4" HT chain and 300' of 8 plait nylon line. With this configuration, I have never had a problem...

Oldest a used Grady can be while not having to worry about fuel tank/tanks replacement.

I have west coast 2003 330 Express. Both tanks original. So far OK - but I know that the clock is ticking down!!

2004 330 Express rear facing seat foot rests

I'm interested in this for my 330. I'm very anxious to see if you find the right footrest solution.

    Motor well scuppers

I had replaced the brass drain tubes twice on my 2003 Express 330. Then my repair facility suggested using thick wall fiberglass tubing. I'll never have to worry about changing the drain tubes again! Whatever you decide to do, compromised drain tubes must be replaced to prevent transom rot.

    305 Express vs 300 Marlin

Sorry - the 12/29/25 thread compared the 300 Marlin with a 330 Express - but key comparisons probably similar.

Got the attention of the GW merchandise people

My problem is merchandise availability. I'd order 2 "Uniquely Grady-White short sleeve T-shirts" right now, but they only have small & triple XL sizes available!!

A Must Watch For GW Owners

Who is behind the helm driving the boat????

    2009 306 Bimini Transom

Don't forget the brass thru hull tubes. You're right, a questionable design that requires the owner, as the boat ages, to repair and SEAL all the potential weak areas. The tricky part is finding and fixing ALL of them BEFORE they become a problem!

2001 Grady White 282 Sailfish - Macerator, Tank level monitor & Toilet pump assembly Install

I remember dealing with one of those macerators on my former 90's GW Advance. Thanks for the memories, albeit not a good memory .

Grady 330 Express vs 300 Marlin

My "security" may be greatly influenced by my +75 age . However, I have no problem maneuvering around the boat (plenty of rails to hold on to) for access to the anchor/windlass and other boat operation functions. I get nervous when casting or handling "hot" fish. My younger angler...

Grady 330 Express vs 300 Marlin

I've been an owner of a 2003 Express 330 for the last 15 years and owned a Marlin 30 for over 5 years before the 330. I've experienced many GW hulls, and the Marlin and 330, in my opinion, are among the most seaworthy and versatile. The Marlin walkaround feature was a dream for fishing, but...

What model Grady White do you own?

I have a 2003 330 Express, purchased her used in early 2011, progressively moving up from a Boston Whaler and two smaller Gradys. Changed name to "Start Me Up" and she lives in Newport Beach, CA. Re-powered in 2021 with twin 4.2 liter 250 Yamahas. Primary used for offshore fishing, family...
